Our Coronavirus Policy
At Llwyn Country House, the health and wellbeing of our customers and staff members will always come first. As a result, we want to assure current and prospective guests that we are taking all steps possible to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus.
We care for you
We are adopting the World Health Organization (WHO’s) standard recommendations and following the government’s latest regulations to reduce exposure to and transmission of a range of illnesses. This includes hand and respiratory hygiene, and safe food practices.
What practices have Llwyn Country House been following
Cleaning
We have always maintained strict standards of cleanliness – and will continue to ensure the following throughout this time:
All employees wash their hands frequently with antibacterial soap and water, and wear gloves when handling cash. Any staff working with food & drink are required to wear gloves for all tasks.
All rooms and communal areas are cleaned and disinfected daily as per strict standards
Areas such as our bar, restaurant, and kitchen are deep cleaned, and a focus is placed on high-traffic areas or objects i.e. tills, card machines etc. which will be disinfected after each use.
Communication
We have ensured swift and comprehensive communication internally and with our external suppliers, to make sure that everyone is up to date with the latest guidelines and procedures. We are monitoring the situation closely and will ensure any relevant WHO or government recommendations are implemented immediately.
Care
In the event of a guest showing symptoms, they will be asked to stay in their room and we will call a doctor via the reception/bar. As per government guidelines, any employee feeling unwell or suffering from a temperature or persistent cough will be asked to self-isolate at home for 7 days.
Book with confidence
The spread of Coronavirus has caused an atmosphere of unease, leaving many worried about their pre-booked celebrations. At Llwyn Country House, we want to make sure you can still enjoy your celebration and events, even if it takes place on a different date to originally planned.
As a result, we have extended our normal cancellation policy so that even if you cancel with less than 48 hours of your arrival date due to Coronavirus reasons, we will hold your deposit and allow you to transfer it to another date with us, within one year. This is effective from 16.03.20.
